Woven bamboo matting is made by using ½” strips of the “meat” or interior portion of bamboo poles. The strips are woven into a finished herringbone pattern and pressed to create a rigid but flexible 100cm x 200cm bamboo sheet that is lightweight and ideal for wall or overhead applications. Each bamboo matting sheet provides an attractive, natural grain appearance that enhances any interior space. Easy to install…Woven Bamboo Matting requires only a chemical fastener. Can be reinforced with pin nails as a secondary attachment for added support.

FIRE PROTECTION:

BYXS Commercial offers several solutions to achieve Class-A Fire rating and will discuss your application and product finishes to determine which solution integrates best with the finished assembly. All Class-A Fire Ratings are accompanied by proper documentation to certify that the product that has been treated correctly. This certificate will include the volume and type of coverage, project name and ownership information, thus taking the guesswork of being “passable” out of the equation.

DURABILITY:

Best suited for interior applications or exterior applications covered and clear of direct exposure to the elements. The natural strength of bamboo poles is preserved in our manufacturing process, ensuring long-lasting performance. INSTALLATION:

The herringbone pattern of our woven bamboo boards creates a stunning visual effect whether installed vertically or horizontally. For a complete finished look, we recommend complementary edge banding to cover exposed edges of the bamboo plywood sheet.
