SPECIES: TRE-GAI

Known as “the beauty” of bamboo species, Tre-gai provides a larger scale and visual impact over the smaller diameter Tam Vong and Tonkin bamboo. Our sanded finished Tre-Gai is an ideal selection if you desire a more finished or refined millwork appearance for your project. With a wall thickness that consumes 60-95% of the overall pole, considered a structural bamboo, Tre-Gai is great selection for support/structural columns and is widely used for exterior and interior applications.

APPEARANCE:

• Natural Tre-Gai: Tan
• Sanded Finished: Honey, dark honey, brown

Colors will vary slightly based on harvesting and finish.
Naturally straight versus milled.

Our team can assist in evaluating the application and product finishes to help recommend the ideal solution for your project. All Class-A Fire Ratings are accompanied by proper documentation to certify that the product that has been treated correctly. This certificate will include the volume and type of coverage, project name and ownership information, thus taking the guesswork of being “passable” out of the equation.
